We welcome you to explore textiles of India's Northeast and understand various indigenous communities and their textile practices with Anna Louise Meynell. Anna-Louise is a textile designer, consultant and researcher who is currently doing her PhD on Eri silk weaving in Meghalaya from the University of the Arts, London. These tours will present an interactive experience of textiles, techniques and designs of the weaving communities in Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland. We will also explore silk cultivation, hand spinning, natural dye techniques as well as various looms of the region.

Textile and Tribal Festival Tour
