Craft and Culture of Assam and Nagaland

This tour broadens the focus to craft, including weaving, mask-making and bamboo craft with artisan visits and hands-on workshops. We visit Majuli Island in the Brahmaputra River, the cultural heart of Assam, as well as jeep safaris in Kaziranga National Park. We will stay in Khonoma village in Nagaland for an authentic experience of Angami Naga culture, and have a bamboo craft workshop with some of the village masters.
